This is my thank-you to this community: six free Saturday lives for families, all through the holiday season, from November 14 to December 19. Word games, a family book club, a holiday writing party, and more. Sit down together with your kids, grab a blanket, and join me from wherever you are in the world.

I'm Dr. Jenn Overstreet, a literacy educator. I've spent 16 years teaching kids from more than 30 countries, in the US, Italy, and the Middle East, and international schools around the world have brought me in to strengthen how they teach reading and writing.
Today I live in Rome and teach families all over the world on Zoom. Merry Lit-mas is six Saturdays of doing the fun parts of reading and writing together, with your kids right there.
Kids about 4 to 12 will get the most out of the kid lives. The December 12 reading reset is for parents.
Every time on this page is already shown in your own time zone. The lives are at 3pm in Rome.
Please join with them. Every session is designed for a parent and kid to do together, and half the magic is you seeing how it works so you can keep using it at home.
No. I'm the only one on camera. Parents and kids never appear on screen, so come in pajamas if you like. Your kid can answer in the chat, or you can type for them.
Not at all. Come to the ones that fit your weekend. The replays come to your inbox either way.
